The processing is of a lithographic printing plate, which exhibits a layer of physical development nuclei between an aluminium support and a silver halide emulsion layer. The lithographic printing plate is processed in the presence of a monocyclic azole compound, which exhibits no mercapto groups, nor it's derivative.
