PURPOSE:To print and read bar codes by storing a font of the bar codes to print these codes with operation of an input means and also using a bar code reading means interlocking a print head. CONSTITUTION:When an input key circuit 14 is operated, the information in this operation is processed by a CPU15. The characters, etc. corresponding to the pushed keys are printed by a print mechanism 16 and also displayed at a display device 17. A ROM18 stores a font of bar codes and a font of characters for print. Thus the bar codes of characters, etc. corresponding to the keys applied by an action changeover swtich 19 can be printed. Furthermore the printed bar codes can be read by a bar code reader 20 with changeover of the switch 19, then outputted to an output terminal. A bar code conversion means 18A converts the read bar codes into the character codes of an ASC11, etc. |
