The brake (5a,b) has a pivoting actuating cam with a transmission arm connected to the end of the control rod (14) of a piston of the brake actuating cylinder (16). The brake also comprises adjusters (MR), which allow continuous variation of the spacing between the connecting point (17) of the control rod to the transmission arm and the pivot axis of the cam. The position of the connecting point can be locked. The transmission arm can have a longitudinal opening (18), in which a movable carriage (19) moves along the longitudinal axis of the transmission arm. The control rod is articulated on the carriage to the connecting point.
