The object of the invention is alightweight container in which improvements have been introduced which consist in providing means that enable it to withstand the vertical efforts resulting from the stacking of several containers to form a pile, said means comprising ample seats on two of its opposite sides, said sides being fitted with double partitions which provide the container with a high degree of strength.
