PURPOSE:To permit variable power rate to be changed automatically when a newly selected paper is different from the first paper in size by selecting a plurality of paper feeders in response to the operation of a switch and controlling the magnification according to the selected paper size. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the initial mode selection, a feed paper size selection switch 4 and a variable power rate designation switch 2 are operated, whereby a unmagnification, e.g., B4 size, is displayed on a display unit 5. If a switch 4b for an intermediate paper feeder is selected, during copying in the first mode the B4 size is switched over to B5 for the intermediate paper feeder. Since an image-cut results in the original scale copying, the variable power rate is automatically switched over to 0.71 time magnification. The variable power rate is automatically selected according to the selected paper size, so that image- cut will never occur. |
