New method produces the assemblies of bristles forming brush products. Continuous plastic bristle strands (3) are used. At first, whilst the injection mould is open, the clamping applied by the two-section base plate is released. The injected brush body is raised from the base plate (7) of the mould and all the strands moulded into the brush body, come with it. These are pulled after the body, drawn through the now-open bores of the base plate. In the new arrangement, raising is effected by an integral, intermediate plate (11) in the mould, which also moulds the side contours of the injection moulding (1).
