The invention relates to hair dye-carrying substance containing a combination of 2-(2', 5'diaminophenyl) ethanol, 5-amino-2-methyphenol and at least one 2-amino-6-chloro-4-nitrophenol according to formula (I), wherein R stands for hydrogen, a straight or branched chain alkyl group with 1-6 carbon atoms, a straight or branched chain hydroxyalkyl group with 2-4 carbon atoms or a straight or branched chain polyhydroxyalkyl group with 3-4 carbon atoms. The invention also relates to an oxidation hair dye agent based on this dye-carrying substance and a method for oxidation hair dyeing using said hair dye agent.
