The supply circuit has a feedback voltage source (10) delivering a given voltage (Vo) for the load (25) and a current supply circuit (30) and a current drain circuit (40) which are each coupled to the voltage output (TO) of the feedback voltage source. The current supply circuit provides a current at the voltage output when the stationary voltage is below a given value and the current drain circuit extracts a current from the voltage output when the stationary voltage is above a given value.
