摘要 |
This original method evaporates fluids, especially formic acid, combating Varroa mites in beehives. A constant level of this fluid is maintained in a vessel. A capillary, evaporative element dips into the fluid, and is divided, yielding two capillary flows. The first is taken vertically upwards. The second rises, turns horizontally, and then turns downwards. It falls below the level of the fluid, producing a siphoning effect. The first capillary flowrate is a function of ambient conditions, including air pressure, humidity, circulation and temperature. The second flowrate is held constant.
