PURPOSE:To increase the degree of freedom in the size of the capacity of supply sources for a sample liquid and reference liquid by constituting connecting members in such a manner that the spacing between the top ends of a pair of dropping tips is changed by the operation from the outside. CONSTITUTION:A duplex pipette has a pair of cylinders 21, 22 in the lower part of a housing 10 and is provided with a pair of piston members 31, 32 in such a manner that the top ends 31A, 32A thereof are projected from the top end of the housing 10 and that the bottom ends 31B, 32B thereof can glide vertically within a pair of the cylinders 21, 22. The housing 10 is provided at the bottom end thereof with a pair of the dropping tips 51, 52 freely attachably and detachably via a pair of the connecting members 41, 42 so as to communicate with a pair of the cylinders 21, 22. A pair of the piston members 31, 32 are elastically supported in the housing 10 by two pairs of coil springs 61, 62; 63, 64. The stroke of the piston members 31, 32 is made controllable by a pin 80. The liquids of the volume suitable respectively for a multi type and single type are obtd. with one unit of the duplex pipette if the large stroke is made to correspond to the liquid volume for the multi type and the small stroke to the liquid volume of the single type. |
