<p>A container closure assembly made of a soft plastic material comprises an elongated tubular member having a hollow nozzle (30), the bore (32) of the nozzle at the tip end defining a discharge opening (36); and a cap member (40) connected at one end to the tip of the nozzle by a fracturable bridge connection (80), the cap member having an outwardly flared skirt (48) projecting from the one end, a hollow finger disposed interiorly of the skirt (44), and an opening of the finger adjacent the nozzle being of a smaller diameter than the discharge opening in the nozzle to define a stepped configuration.</p> |
