<p>A bactericidal fluid for hands, etc., which comprises a mixture of (a) a fluid containing a plant extract and metal ions and having undergone a treatment for heightening the activity of water, (b) vitamin C, and (c) an aqueous solution of a substance releasing iron (III) and/or copper ions. By contact with this fluid for about 10 sec, Escherichia coli O-157, other coliform bacilli, and bacteria such as MRSA can be destroyed. A bactericidal fluid obtained by replacing part or all of the ingredient (a) with a fluid containing dissolved therein ions of mineral elements extracted from vermiculite with a dilute acid produces the same effects.</p> |
