Multipart flywheel for torque transfer in internal combustion engines

The flywheel has a first and second flywheel masses (2,3) rotatable relative to each other against action of dampener. A gearwheel (8) transferring a part of the torque to be transferred between the flywheel masses is rotatably mounted on one of same and is in drive connection with at least one of the masses through friction and/or spring device which allow relative rotation between the two masses. Additional friction and spring devices are provided in the second torque transfer path. The friction and/or spring device of one torque transfer path and those of the other path are connected in parallel between the two flywheel masses. Planetary gearing with two planetary wheels can provide dampener.
