The heating device is in the side wall (1) of the bus. A fan (2) and a heat exchanger (3) project into the cavity of the side wall from the heating device. A cover (4) goes over them. The air for heating can flow in the cavity formed between the cover and the side wall. There are supply apertures (5) in the cover and output apertures (6) vertically under them. The fan produces the downward through flow of the air to be heated. The air passes by the head exchanger and goes to the output apertures, coming out in the foot region near the passenger seats.
