Plant carbonising biological material feed

The plant carbonises biological raw material. It has a vertical reactor, heating the material, with a charging unit and product extractor. The heat is liberated in a combustion chamber. The reactor is connected to the combustion chamber, to which the liberated gases are supplied for combustion. The new feature is application of reduced pressure to the connection line (32, 36) by an exhauster (44) connected after the reactor (12). The connection between reactor, line, combustion chambers (34) and reactor heating (26) chambers and flue gas offtake, is continuous.
