The invention describes a machine to automatically cut a hollow, cylindrical glass article end, comprising : a support structure including a shaft; an intermittent rotation impelling mechanism, mounted on shaft, providing a plurality of positions which correspond to loading, cutting, fire finishing and unloading positions; an intermittent rotation lower table, mounted on shaft and rotarily coupled to intermittent rotation impelling mechanism, including a plurality of equidistantly distributed burners in its periphery, so as to cut an article end exceeding portion and to fire-finish cut end thereof, inside a cutting cycle; an intermittent rotation upper table, coupled to lower table, comprising a plurality of support mechanisms and fastener actuating, equidistantly mounted thereon, each including a fastener having fingers to fasten an article upper end in an unloading position, lower fastened article to a cutting position, placing exceeding portion on a burner to be cut and fire-finished, and to rise and unload finished article, in an unloading position; and a continuous rotation impelling mechanism, to rotate fastener and article fastened thereby, through cutting and fire-finishing positions.
