<p>The present invention is a printhead (12) for ejecting fluid droplets (32). The printhead (12) includes a chamber member (18, 20) defining a chamber (26). The chamber member (18, 20) has a chamber volume associated therewith. The chamber member (18, 20) defines an orifice (16) and a fluid inlet (22) through which fluid flows to the chamber (26). Also included is a heating member (28) for heating fluid within the chamber (26). The chamber (26) ejects a fluid droplet (32) having a volume equal to the chamber volume in response to activation of the heating member (28). <IMAGE></p> |
