Method and input unit for a control system of a vehicle display screen

The road vehicle has a display screen Ä10Ü on which function symbols are shown for such as seat position and window control Ä4Ü. The screen is connected to an on board computer Ä2Ü and this exchanges information with a cursor Ä5Ü control unit Ä11Ü. The unit is similar to a computer 'mouse' except that it is constrained to move in X and Y directions on guide system. In this way the cursor is moved to a specific symbol and is activated by pressing input keys Ä111Ü. Tactile feedback is provided to the driver.
