<p>Weighting vectors for an adaptive antenna, or diversity antenna, are determined by applying a plurality of test weighting vector sets, and measuring a quality of a signal received or transmitted for each set, wherein an optimum set of weighting vectors is determined from the test sets and from each measured signal quality.
