The device for adjusting the position of a fixing on a snowboard comprises a base plate (2) with a circular hole whose edge (21) comprises a first peripheral surface portion (200). A central disc (3) having a contour overhanging the hole has a peripheral edge (30) with a second surface portion which comes into contact with the first surface portion during fitting of the disc in the base plate hole. The two surface portions comprise ramps which slide over each other. A stop prevents rotation of the base plate relative to the central disc when the fastening (4) is clamped. The stop is disengaged, allowing relative rotation, when the fastening is partly unclamped.
