Device for dewatering and compression of solid particles which occur in waste water and which are collected by or transported to a grating 14, from which the particles are scraped off by means of a piston 23 cooperating with a compressor cylinder 24, and which grating is situated in front of the compressor cylinder inlet and at the height of the lower inner edge thereof, and the piston 23 is designed in such a way that, during the scraping of the grating, it executes a movement along the grating outside the cylinder 24 and, during the compression stroke, it executes a movement essentially coaxial to the cylinder. The piston 23 outside the compressor cylinder can pivot about an essentially horizontal axis 29 towards and away from the grating 14, the piston 23 is provided with a guide sleeve 31 which can be moved along the jacket surface of a hydraulic cylinder 27 whose piston rod 30 is designed to effect the to and fro movement of the compressor cylinder 23, and a clamp 32 or the like is arranged on the guide sleeve 31 and can be moved, counter to the action of a compression spring 35, along the piston rod 33 to a hydraulic cylinder 34 or the like arranged for pivoting the compressor piston 23 and its drive unit 26 about the axis 29. <IMAGE> |
