The present invention relates to a sealing section (1) made of elastomer materials and serving for sealing circumferential gaps between the periphery of an opening in a vehicle body closed by a door or a hood. The section outer side being turned toward a lining part (2) is provided with a hollow chamber (1.2) extending in longitudinal direction. Said hollow chamber (1.2) outer wall is provided in a portion of its length, intended for bearing against said lining part (2), with a slit (1.3) extending in longitudinal direction, too, whereby said lining part (2) longitudinal edge is inserted in the slit (1.3). Wall portions of the hollow chamber (1.2) forming sealing edges arranged close to said slit (1.3) and parallel thereto, bear along the longitudinal edge (2.1) on the lining part (2) in a manner as sealing flaps (1.5, 1.6) do. |
