PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of inspection and to enable optimum allowable values for each of parts to be set by setting, based on the positions of parts on a printed circuit board for inspection, an extraction window for extracting measurement data from received light data, and varying the extraction window according to peripheral information about the positions of the parts. SOLUTION: A processing part 16 originates, from parts information input by use of a teaching board, etc., a data extraction window that conforms to the position and shape of each of parts, and originates allowable value data for each of the parts in accordance with the direction, interval, and the like of each of the parts. Image signals of a reference printed circuit board 10-1 and a printed circuit board 10-2 for inspection, photographed by the color TV camera 21 of a photographing part 16, are input, and using the previously originated extraction window, the feature parameters of the parts 13a, 13b are extracted and compared with each other to determine whether or not all the parts 13b on the board 10-2 for inspection are correctly mounted without being moved. |
