PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the stability of low floating of a magnetic head slider, by providing a magnet head slider provided on an area surface having a pivot projection, so that a floating force center position coincides with a pressure center position applied through the pivot projection in a loading state. CONSTITUTION:To the tip of a load arm 2 which is attached to a main arm 1, an area surface having a pivot projection 4 is bent in the lower direction, and also, a gimbal 3 of a shape in which this pivot projection 4 abuts on the load arm 2 is connected. Also, on the area surface having the pivot projection of its gimbal 3, a magnetic head slider 5 is provided and supported in a state that a pressure center position applied through a floating force center position in its loading state and the pivot projection 4 is made to coincide. Therefore, an unnecessary moment for working on the slider 5 is reduced remarkably, and flow floating of the magnetic head slider 5 is stabilized.
