PURPOSE:To automatically and quickly detect the abnormality of the program run by using a time control means, a transmission means and a detection means in place of the conventional judgement of a user. CONSTITUTION:A program 5 is usable to receive and execute a program monitor instruction given from an instruction control means 4 if the program 5 has abnormality of its run. While the contents of an area 61 of a main memory 6 are kept reset. Thus the prescribed contents are not stored in the area 61 and reset if a program run abnormality detecting means 1 that received the information from a time control means 3 after time T performs the decision processing 22. Then it is decided that the program 5 has abnormality of its run and this fact is informed to the user through the information processing 23.
