<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the dispersion of a clearance between an upper and a lower cutting edge, and to facilitate the operation of clearance adjustment. SOLUTION: A plate cutting device has a fluctuatable ram 15 where an upper cutting edge is fitted, and is provided with an axial direction pressing means 29 for removing an axial play at a bearing 26 serving as the fluctuation supporting point of the ram 15 by giving pressurizing force. The axial direction pressurizing means 29 axially presses the inner ring 26a of the bearing 26 through a spacer 33 by a cylinder 31 set on a fluctuatable support shaft 14 to give a pre-load to the bearing 26. A pair of upper and lower cutting edges is severally formed in a flat plane-shaped L-letter form, and the fluctuatable support shaft 14 is arranged so as to be oblique in a horizontal plane to each side of the upper and lower cutting edges.</p> |
