<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain sufficient flexibility by forming non-slip bulged protruding parts, provided with space parts inside, longitudinally at the periphery of metal or hard synthetic resin to form a handrail provided at stairs, a corridor, a bathroom, a washroom, or the like of a building. SOLUTION: A base material pipe body 2 of a handrail body 1 is formed of metal or hard synthetic resin. A coating pipe body 3 provided at the periphery of the base material pipe body 2 is provided with longitudinal bulged protruding parts 4 and recessed arc parts 5 alternately formed at part of the periphery so as to form a hollow part inside each bulged protruding part 4. A double pipe body to be double is overlapped on the periphery of the base material pipe body 2, and the coating pipe body 3 is overlapped on the periphery of the double pipe body. The base material pipe body 2 enters a die, and the coating pipe body 3 is fitted to the periphery from an extrusion molding machine. The bulged protruding parts 4 and recessed arc parts 5 are alternately formed by an ascending/descending metal mold from the lower part of the die, and a space part is formed inside each bulged protruding part 4. Two extrusion molding machines are used to form the base material pipe body into a double pipe body.</p> |
