PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid drift current of an element wire and to stabilize cooling of a super-conductive element wire, by, without bundling super-conductive element wires which constitute a super-conductive cable, connecting to each of insulated element wire of current lead. SOLUTION: A super-conductive element wire 21 housed in a cable conduit conductor 3 is introduced in a supercritical helium bath in a cryostat 2, and cooled with a supercritical helium. Further, the super-conductive element wire 21 is extended to an adjacent liquid helium cooling bath through a seal member 23 under air-tight sealing condition, and then being impregnate in the liquid helium, connected to a normal-conductive type lead element wire 25 one-for-one through a connector 24. A current lead 7 comprising the lead element wire 25 is assigned inside a tube-like member extending above the top board of the cryostat 2, cooled in gas helium obtained through vaporization of the liquid helium, and then connected to a terminal 5 connected to an external power source. Thereby, a super-conductive element wire is efficiently cooled, and occurrence of drift current is suppressed and reduced. |
