PURPOSE:To reduce a process of arrangements and a time for chamfering work, by cutting a metal pipe particularly a square pipe thereafter simultaneously chamfering a base material end side surface of the pipe being left as placed in the same arrangements. CONSTITUTION:A pair of cutters 29 cut into toward a clamped base material A. If guide rollers 30 are adapted to the base material A, a table 14 is rotated 180 deg. being held by guide rollers 23, and the base material A is cut. Next the cutter 29 is retracted, simultaneously chamfering cutters 34, while being rotated, cut into toward a cut product A of the base material A, and chamfering is performed. Thereafter, the table 14 is rotated 180 deg. in an opposite direction to that in cutting, and an end surface of the product A, cut from the base material A, is simultaneously chamfered. Accordingly, work can be rationalized.
