PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an enzyme-based contact lens cleaner retaining longterm stable activity to simultaneously clean both protein and lipid stains of contact lens, and to provide such a method for cleaning/disinfecting contact lens that uses the cleaner in combination with an one-step contact lens cleaning/ disinfection container. SOLUTION: An aqueous enzyme solution with the blend ratio of protease to lipase of (2:1) to (1:2) is mixed with placenta extract as enzyme stabilizer at 0.1-0.5g/total 100ml followed by adjusting the resultant solution to pH4.5-6.0 to obtain the objective contact lens cleaner. Cleaning plus disinfection of contact lens is efficiently conducted in a short time using a combination of this cleaner with an one-step contact lens cleaning/disinfection container. |
