PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide how much a paper sheet is circulated by measuring the displacement of a guide means based upon variation in the tension of the paper sheet when the paper sheet is guided by the guide means to pass. SOLUTION: A batch feed and payoff part 13 stores a paper money A between a pickup roller 25 equipped with a load cell 24 and a pressure plate 26, a bill payoff part is provided with a feed roller 27 and a gate roller 28 vertically opposite each other, and the guide member 29 is provided which guides the paper money A paid out of the payoff part 13. The guide member 29 is pivoted on a support shaft 30 and while the gate roller 28 is fitted on the payoff base end side of the paper money A across a gate roller shaft 31, a strain gauge 32 as a stress sensor which transduces a physical quantity of pressure, etc., into an electric signal and output it is fitted to a projection piece 29a. Then separation pressure generated when the paper money A is paid out is received by the guide member 29 and measured by the strain gauge 32. |
