PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a motor unit and to abbreviate the wiring of the power source and signal line of an encoder by synchronizing an edge detection section and a binary phasing circuit section through a clock pulse to make a binary phase encoder unnecessary. SOLUTION: A synchronizing circuit section 2 severaly latches 3 phase of magnetic pole detecting Hall sensor signal U, V, W-phase signals for controlling a D.C. brushless motor, and outputs output signals US, VS, WS. An edge detecting section 3 detects the rise and fall of the output signals US, VS, WS to generate a pulse signal UE having a fixed width. A sextuplicating circuit section 4 converts the pulse signal UE from the edge detection section 3 into the pulse row of 6 pulses per one rotation. A binary phasing circuit section 5 converts the output signal X6 of the sextuplicating circuit section 4 into a two-phase encoder signal. A clock generating circuit 6 severally gives a clock pulse to the synchronizing circuit section 2, the edge detecting section 3, the sextuplicating circuit section 4 and the binary phasing circuit 5 to synchronize the beginning of motion in each section. |
