PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide food such as sticks of rice powder or green jelly, which improves cooking property and mixture with soup, by preparing dough composed of a kneaded object provided by adding water and seasoning or the like to raw materials mainly such as rice powder, starch and wheat flour, blowing heated steam to one side of that dough, cooling the dough later, cutting and drying it. SOLUTION: The rice powder, starch and wheat flour and/or the other cereals are used as main raw materials and the kneaded object provided by adding water and seasoning and/or filling to these raw materials is made into the dough having thickness from 0.70mm to 2.0mm on a plate-shaped conveyer. Heated steam is blown onto one side of that dough and after steaming processing is performed, the dough is cooled. After linear, dot-shaped, disconnected or grid-shaped grooves are formed on one side of this dough, it is cut into any suitable size, dried and immersed in hot water or hot soup in case of cooking. Thus, the quickly prepared food, of which the shape is deformed into pipes or any other shape, having satisfactory feels to eat and taste is provided. |
