PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a coating film having a sufficient smoothness, hardly causing a pinhole and good in appearance without damaging an excellent property such as weather resistance and mechanical strength. SOLUTION: In the forming method of the coating film constituted by baking after applying the powder paint on a matter to be coated, the powder paint is composed of a block isocyanate comp. usingε-caprolactam as a blocking agent and a film forming resin, and the baking is executed by the first stage at which the paint is heated for 15-40min at 140-160 deg.C and the second stage at which the paint is heated for 5-40min at 170-220 deg.C.
