发明名称 REPROCESSING METHOD FOR SPENT FUEL
摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which uranium and transuranic elements in spent fuels are efficiently separated, retrieved, and reused, and technology with which minor-actinide along with uranium and plutonium are altogether retrieved. SOLUTION: After mixing low electric-resistant objects 7 with spent fuels 6 in a container or entering spent fuels 6 into a container, electrolysis is performed rotating the container as positive electrode. High pressured chloride steam of noble metals (e.g. ruthenium, rhodium) which generates in the process of melting by electrolysis is lead to the outside of the reaction container with carrier-gas, is solidificated with decreasing temperature to convert it to chloride particles, is separated and retrieved with a filter, and is reacted with cadmium in molten salt. The generated cadmium chloride is converted to metal by reducing oxide from the cladding and then converted to chloride. Thus, the high pressured chloride steam is used as conversion material to chloride of metals in the process that fuel is separated from the cladding.</p>
