PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the automatic payment of a taxi fare on a passenger side by arranging a console panel part in which a display part, a cash reception part, a change return part, a bond reception part, and a receipt issue part are built in where a taxi passenger can operate it. SOLUTION: The taxi fare payment device is fitted in the space part between two front seats which are arranged side by side including a driver seat so that the console panel part 1a faces a rear seat side. The console panel part 1a is provided with the display part 11 for displaying a taxi fare, etc., a bill insertion slot 12a and a coin insertion slot 12b as the cash reception part 12, and the change return part 13, and a passenger who sits on the rear seat is enabled to directly operate the taxi charge payment device. Further, a prepaid card insertion/extraction slot 14a, a credit card mount part 14b, and a taxi ticket insertion slot 14c are provided and the recording information of a bond with which a taxi fare can be paid is read. |
