PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply apparatus, having excellent facility, to keep the temperature of hot water in a bath tub at a proper temperature through a simple mechanism without arranging a burner for additional burning. SOLUTION: A circulation passage to circulate hot water in a bath tub 1 is arranged in the middle of a supply hot water passage to the bath tub 1. A pump 45, a hot water temperature detecting means to detect the temperature of hot water, and an electric heater 46 to effect additional burning and heating are arranged in the circulation passage to form a forced circulation heating circuit. During heat insulation operation, hot water in the bath tub 1 is circulated by a circulation heating circuit and a hot water temperature is detected by a hot water temperature detecting means when a hot water temperature is below a set temperature, energization of the electric heater 46 is started and heating operation is effected until temperature attains a set value. During operation on the hot side, high temperature hot water is added by a high temperature water addition-control means to increase the temperature of hot water in the bath tub 1. |
