PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a user to intuitively grasp what is called a history operation function for utilizing the operation history of a command and the access history of a file. SOLUTION: A history control part 1 allocates colors for the respective characters of a character string constituting the command in accordance with a prescribed conversion rule stored in a conversion rule storage part 3 in a history stored in an operation history storage part 2, generates a history pattern and displays it on a display part 5. The history pattern displayed on the display part 5 is reproduced into an original operation history constituted of the character string in accordance with the prescribed conversion rule stored in the conversion rule storage part 3.
