<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device whereby data in a non-volatile memory, which is electrically rewriting possible, is more quickly rewritten. SOLUTION: The device as an engine control unit(ECU) transfers a writing program to be transmitted from an external device to RAM so as to execute it (S300-S350) so that it executes a rewriting processing for rewriting data in a flash ROM into writing data which is transmitted from the external device (S540). In this case, the change instruction (S530) of a baud rate is arranged before an instruction group for the rewriting processing in the rewriting control program from the external device and ECU executes the rewriting processing after the execution of the change instruction. Then, in the rewriting processing, a prescribed amount of data from the external device are received and succeeding data is requested to the external device after the completion of writing the data to the flash ROM. In result, the baud rate becomes optionally change possible and also writing data is efficiently exchanged.</p> |
