<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dissipation power due to after-cooling effected after the stop of an engine. SOLUTION: The after cooling device comprises a plurality of hot water pipes 5a1 -5a3 , metal balls 5b for heat storage, a fluidized bed boiler 5 serving as a primary heat-exchanger to heat fed hot water by exhaust gas from an engine 3 serving as a heat source, a circulation pump 7 to effect circulation feed of hot water to the fluidized bed boiler 5, and a secondary heat-exchanger 9 to feed hot water by heating supply water to generate hot water by using hot water heated by the fluidized bed boiler 5 as a heat source. In this case, a control device 8 is provided to control operation and the stop of the circulation pump 7, and control is effected by the control device 8 such that during a specified time after the stop of the engine 3, the circulation pump 7 is intermittently operated. Further, the control device 8 is formed such that the circulation pump is controlled to intermittently operate at a given operation time with a given rest section so that the temperature of circulation water is prevented from attaining a given upper limit temperature due to a remaining heat after the stop of the engine 3.</p> |
