PASSWORD REGISTRATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a trouble for the password registration processing of a system using a card and to reduce the forgetting of the password of a user. SOLUTION: A password file 3 registering the identification number and the password of the user is prepared for a server device 1 and a previously decided value is registered in the password as an initial value. When the card user inserts the card into a terminal 6, the password is judged to be the initial value which is previously decided or not. When it is the initial value, a password change processing is started and the changed password is controlled to be a value except for the initial value. The changed password is registered in the password file 3.
