PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely inexpensively and efficiently achieve further deodorizing and cleaning of air by a method wherein air is irradiated with a radiation by ' decay to convert diatomic oxygen into active one which is released into the air for deodorizing, sterilization and the like. SOLUTION: Anαdecay is a phenomenon that a natural reductive element radiates a rays when collapsing. When air is irradiated with a radiation byαdecay, diatomic oxygen in the air is turned to active oxygen within tense oxidizing potentiality. Further, in the active oxygen one oxygen molecule loses paramagnets under one-electron reduction, so that one oxygen atom is changed to unpaired electrons and eventually is transformed to a highly reactive oxygen atom. Then, the oxygen thus obtained is activated and with intense oxidizing capacity, it reacts odor molecules. It is presumed that ammonia molecule are oxidized by the oxygen with such an intense oxidizing capacity to be turned to nitrogen oxide, Hydrogen as component of ammonia turns to water by a covalent bonding reaction with oxygen atoms under a radioactive chemical reaction.
|
