PURPOSE:To omit fitting work of a water level detector to a bathtub by intermittently operating a pump at the time of pouring water and detecting water level of the bathtub when the pump is at rest. CONSTITUTION:Hot water in a hopper 15 is pressure fed to a bathtub 4 by a pump 5. The pump 5 is stopped after lapse of a fixed time and a solenoid valve 16 for a tank is closed. Water pressure at the time is detected by a water level sensor 17 in the state of no dynamic pressure. When the pressure is below set water pressure, the pump 5 is driven again, and the solenoid valve 16 for a tank is opened. Thereafter, the pump 5 is operated intermittently, and water level of the bathtub is detected when the pump is at a standstill, and when the level becomes a set level, a solenoid valve 13 for automatic hot water supply and solenoid valve 16 for a tank are closed, and pouring is stopped. Thus, as the water level sensor 17 can be installed in the bath unit 1, fitting work of a water level detector to the bathtub 4 can be omitted.
