PURPOSE:To shift a call channel without short break a call in the middle of calling by simultaneously modifying the way that a call side node time switch and a callee side node time switch are connected. CONSTITUTION:Nodes are provided with N-notation frame counters 15 and 25 to control the instruction execution time of a control instruction controlling the time division multiplex switches 11 and 21 of communication nodes A10 and B20, and instruction memories 14 and 24. Simultaneously control means for the nodes are connected with each other through a network. The N-notation frame counter 15 delays an address at which the control means for the call side node A10 writes a control instruction in an instruction memory 14 behind an instruction execution address by time required for communicating between nodes, writes instructions, and simultaneously writes control instructions in the control memories 12 and 22 of the nodes on the call and callee sides. Therefore the channel of a call in the middle of calling can be shifted without causing instantaneous shut-off.
