PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve life performance, by using an alloy sheet of which an expanded grid area formed by spreading out a lead alloy rolled sheet in layer structure with partly gaps is less than the specified area of a sheet surface. SOLUTION: An expanded grid of positive electrode is formed by rolling a part of a lead alloy synthetic sheet of Pb-0.6wt.%Ca-1.5wt.%Sn as layer structure. An expanding grid of negative electrode is formed by rolling a part of a lead alloy sheet of Pb-0.6wt.%Ca-0.5wt.%Sn as layer structure. The life performance is improved by applying the lead alloy sheet in which projected area of layer structure part with gaps is less than 2/3 of sheet surface to positive electrode or negative electrode plate. |
