<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align a sewer pipe by forming a socket-side projection for positioning to a socket installed to the sewer pipe, inserting the spigot of the connected sewer pipe into the socket and fitting a spigot-side recessed section formed to the external surface of the sewer pipe on the spigot side to the socket-side projection. SOLUTION: A sewer pipe body 11 is fitted into saddle sections 21, 21 so that a socket 15 is directed towards the non-mounting end section side, and split-body fixing sections 22, 22 for the jig 2 are superposed. The edge of the saddle section 21 on the projection 23 side is placed at a section entering to the inside by the inserting length section of the socket 15 from the main body 11 while the top section of the wedge of a projection 23 is conformed to a marked line 14 at the same time. Bolts 25 are passed through the bolt inserting holes of the fixing sections 22, 22 of both superposed split bodies, and the jig 2 is fixed and unified to the sewer pipe 1. A marker line 14 formed to the surface of the sewer pipe body 11 and the top section of the wedge of the socket-side recessed section 16 of another sewer pipe 1 are mated, and a spigot 17 is fitted to the socket 15 of another sewer pipe 1. Accordingly, the sewers 1, 1 are mutually connected accurately, an exclusive sewer pipe need not be manufactured again, and cost can be reduced.</p> |
