SEWAGE PIPE FOR PASSING OPTICAL FIBER CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate application and avoid deterioration and corrosion of a cable by arranging a groove which has a pinched sectional area at its opening in the axial direction of a sewage pipe at its inner surface, fitting a projection on an outer surface of an optical fiber cable pipe which has a pinched sectional area at its root to the groove for supporting. SOLUTION: A continuous groove 3 is formed in an axial direction of an inner surface of a pipe body 2 of a sewage pipe 1 at is upper limit position. An optical fiber cable pipe 4 is engaged therewith and supported by the groove 3. The groove 3 has a pinched sectional area where an opening 31 is narrower than an inner space 32. A projection 5 whose root 52 is narrower than a circular leading end 51 to bring about a pinched sectional area is integrated with the optical fiber cable pipe 4 at its outer surface. The projection 5 is fitted to the groove 3 for hanging the optical fiber cable pipe 4 from the inner surface of the sewage pipe 2 and supported thereby. The cable inside the pipe 4 is not brought into contact with corrosive gas nor moisture to prevent color change and corrosion.
