PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm electric field strength at a present spot without taking out the telephone body of a personal handy phone system(PHS) or the like by directly receiving an information channel (BCCH) sent from a base station, and visibly displaying level corresponding to the electric field strength. SOLUTION: An antenna 1 receives a wave sent from a base station 6, and an electric field strength detecting part 2a in a wireless part 2 detects an electric field strength. The information of the detected electric field strength is transmitted to a control section 3, and a display command is outputted to a display control part 4 so as to visibly display the level corresponding to the electric field strength on the scope of LCD5. The display control part 4 displays the information of the present electric field strength on the scope of LCD5 according to the above display command. Thus since the wave sent from the base station 6 is transformed into a wireless signal, and the information of the present electric field strength is visibly displayed on LCD5, a user observes the LCD display and can thereby understand the electric field strength at the present place, and dispenses with taking out of a PHS terminal body from a bag or the like. |
