PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data display device and a data display method capable of performing judgement for the presence and absence of the logical break of a document to be displayed and controlling display time based on the judged result at the time of displaying data. SOLUTION: A title page detection part detects a page provided with the characters of a large size from image data or character data stored in a buffer memory and analyzes whether or not the page is the page provided with title characters (step S409). Based on the analyzed result, a display time decision circuit decides suitable display time and stores the display time in a display time register (step S410) and a display device displays the image data or the character data. |
