PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth cover provided with a flap for auxiliarily fixing the cover to a sheet. SOLUTION: In the method for forming a horizontally knitted cloth cover 50 provided with the flap 50 extending in the direction of a wale on the side of an inner surface 23, surplus cloth in the direction of a course is knitted into the cover, this surplus cloth is pulled and gathered to make a folded state, and its root parts 57 are sewed up together to form the flap 50 inside of the cloth. The length in the course direction of the cover 13 is made a sufficient length for making the cover 13 to substantially precisely fit a sheet core material after pulling and gathering the cloth for forming the flap 50. |
